Boutique PR for a fraction of the cost

Case study: Java rooftop bar by Studio PIM

Project by project PR with no retainer….
I was thrilled to be asked by Perrine Velge, the founder of Studio PIM, a Portugal via London interior design firm, to run her PR campaign for the newly opened rooftop bar, Java.

For a very modest fee over a five day sprint I put together the following campaign:

  • Wrote targeted press release to restaurant / bar design B2B and lifestyle publications with great story angle hooks

  • Created database of press contacts to share with client

  • Created drop box press pack for journalists with all press materials, resized photos and longer editorial interview

  • Mass mail out on client’s behalf and answered email enquiries

  • Arranged interviews with client

  • Sourced French translator for French media contacts, translated campaign

Over the following months, the client’s investment paid off with coverage in Design Week, The Spaces, Monocle, Hospitality Design magazine, Milk Decoration, Pendulum magazine and smaller blogs. Exposure also followed on supplier Bert & May and Pierre Frey websites. I achieved all this for less than the price of a quarter page ad in a leading interior design consumer magazine.

If you have a product or launch you want to create buzz for, my approach can be perfectly tailored to meet your needs, minimising commitment and agency fees.
